How to get to Bequia
There is no major international airport on St. Vincent & the Grenadines, so visitors who are not coming from Great Britain, Canada or the United States usually arrive by way of neighbouring islands like Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia or Martinique. Regular return flights cost around $700 US.
Flight time from central Europe to St. Vincent & the Grenadines is approx. 10 hours. From Germany, Condor and Lufthansa offer direct flights to Grenada or Barbados (which has the best connecting flights to St. Vincent & the Grenadines).
Caribbean airlines provide regional connecting flights in a prop plane. Grenadine Alliance, for instance, offers a direct service to Bequia. Airlines such as InterCaribbeanAirways fly to St. Vincent. Then just take the ferry to Port Elizabeth, Bequia (approx. €5). The crossing is only one hour, but the perfect way to tune into the right mood for your Caribbean holiday.
